Technorati Tags: wordpressI’m not sure when this happened but Apple seems to have added a huge stash of DHR stuff to the iTunes store. Finally I can satisfy my urges for Atari Teenage Riot, EC8OR and Lolita Storm with a simple click.

Have to see how it goes, but it looks pretty promising so far.
Update: Well, the default HTML it generates is cleaner than what Flock was doing initially. But it’s just replacing carriage returns with <br /> tags, not actually wrapping things in <p> tags like I’d prefer.
Update: It also parses character encoded (< etc.) characters as HTML when editing an existing post. Never a good thing.

One more quick bit: Happy Birthday Andrea. And happy holidays to everyone.
Okay, so obviously I’m having some issues with the whole “post by email” scene. So I’m just going to call it quits and plan on updating when Andrea and I get home (internet access is just dialup here). I’ll keep posting some bits on my Flickr account so keep an eye out over there I guess.

Today Andrea and I head off to Missouri to visit her family again for Christmas and Andrea’s birthday. Trying to take as little techy stuff as possible (cell phone, iPod and the MyFi XM Radio that Andrea gave me for Xmas is about it), but I have set up Wordpress to take posts by email so I may still get a post up here now and then.
Happy holidays, everybody.

If there’s one question I’m asked by designers more than any other, it’s how to figure out what to charge for a project.
So I read something somewhere the other day about the WiFi phone from Vonage that will let you hop onto any wireless network to use your Vonage account to make calls (like having a cellphone that works on wifi instead of cell networks). And I was thinking earlier that it’d be really nice if Skype would do something similar (all their phones that are available now use a USB connection, I want something that would let me take my skypeIn number with me other places without having to forward it to another number, etc.) and apparently they’re working on it (or were in August) but I haven’t been able to find any more recent information on what’s up with it. I demand slick future-toys now!

I’ve noticed in my short existence that I tend to do many things differently from most people. Some of those things probably work just as well, whereas others make me wonder “why doesn’t everyone do this?”
